Established in 1983 as Velhon Motors, the entity was founded by the government of the [[Republic of Velho]] one year following the dissolution of the [[Halvert Republic|Halvert Repubic]]. Its initial objective was the production of affordable automobiles in the aftermath of the [[Velho-Halvertian War]]. The inaugural automobile produced by the company was the Velhon V1.
