== History == | |||
The Peninsula was discovered by the Knapers in 1322 BC, at which time it constituted an island. Initially under the dominion of the Knaper Empire, the territory was subject to invasion by the [[Poshin Empire]] in 1877. Following this occupation, the region achieved independence in 1929, leading to the establishment of the Free Republic of Dinglematch. This independent entity existed until 1962, when it entered into a unification with the [[Republic of Velho]], which subsequently unified with [[Knaperland]]. In 1998, a geographical transformation occurred, altering the territory's status from an island to a Peninsula. | |||
