When the Halvert Republic got a new government on 3 March 1977, there was decided to expand their ground forcefully, by taking in the Republic of Velho. It was the 10th of July when the war had started.
On March 3, 1977, the Halvert Republic underwent a significant change in government, which led to the adoption of a more aggressive and expansionist policy. The newly formed administration decided to forcibly expand its territorial holdings by annexing the Republic of Velho. This ambition culminated in the outbreak of hostilities on July 10, 1977, when Halvertian forces launched a military offensive.


Troops of the Halvert Republic first went to [[Old-Velho]]. The most bloody battle found place there.
The Halvert Republic's military initially advanced toward [[Velho]], where the most intense and brutal fighting of the war took place. This pivotal confrontation saw heavy casualties and widespread destruction. Ultimately, the town of Velho was completely obliterated. In recognition of the immense human cost and the town's historical significance, it has remained in its ruined state and is now preserved as an official war monument village, standing as a solemn tribute to the horrors of the conflict.
